I will be in South African for approximately 5 weeks. I will be volunteering at an arts center for 3-4 weeks, visiting at least one arts organization and collaborating with performance poetry groups in Capetown and hopefully going on a safari. Then I will be going to visit a friend of a friend in Johannesburg for about 5 days.

Apparently Capetown has a popular spoken word scene. More details to come…
